Dax and Annie are the 4 legged children of Denise and Doug Gill.  Although not big drinkers themselves, the Gill animals are all named after some type of liquor. Dax is short for Daiquiri and he just turned 10 this year and Annie is short for Annissette who is still a puppy at almost 4.  Dax is a rescue ridgeback mix and Annie is a full blooded black lab.  Pets are considered family in the Gill household.

Meet Zoey Kerr.  She has been the beloved fur baby of Joanne and Jim since November 2021.  After their sweet EllieGrace suddenly passed away in October of that year, the Kerrs were still grieving and not looking, but, Zoey dropped into their lives!  She is a Cocker Spaniel and more than likely lived her life as a breeder. Everyday, she opens up more to be loved and cherished. Her face glows with happiness now.

We have created this special page to highlight our wonderful pets that live with us here in St. Andrews Estates.   If you want to see your pet on this page, contact us via Email with an attached photo and some information about you and your pet.  Write "for Our Pets" in the subject line.

You may also contact Joanne Kerr at 321-591-4267 or jograce55@aol.com for any assistance.

Meet Max. His loving humans are Evelyn and Donald Neste on Thorn Hill Place and you will see them every day walking Max on nearly every street in our neighborhood.   Max is a 12 year old Papillon rescue dog .  He had been abused and now he’s "entitled" to the good life.  Although he looks like a little foo foo dog, he is an excellent hunter. He loves golf cart rides and will do nearly anything for treats.

Meet Maggie and her human companion, Mike Donlin.  They live at the corner of Stoneham and Brockfield.   Maggie is a 2 1/2 year old "Bagle".   Mom is a Beagle, while Dad is a Bassett.  Maggie was found in a rabbit hole along with 3 other siblings in northeast Georgia.  Mike drove up there to rescue her.  Her favorite pastime is eating, so maintaining small dog park size, (under 30#) is a challenge.  Stop by and say hi when you see her in the yard.

Meet Shadow and Leo. These big boys are always around the yard on North Brockfield.  They have an electronic fence so they don't go past the sidewalk.  Leo the Lion (the Newfoundland) is still a youngin' and very energetic.  He will chase trucks, golf carts, etc. when they pass by the front yard.  He goes from one side of the yard to the other.  Don't be afraid.  He is a gentle giant!  Shadow (the black lab) is an adult dog and much calmer.  They both love people and dogs.  They want attention if you are willing to get slimed!!

Meet gorgeous Scrapper, the Wallace's other fur baby.  He is a black and white American Shorthair rescue cat who at 15 years of age has earned the right to sleep to his heart's content and when he is not doing that, chase the geckos of course!

Meet 14 year old Pierre Gustave Toutant Beauregard.  Such big name for a tiny Yorkshire Terrier who is also just "Bo" to his family, Scott and Trena Wallace at 235 Amesbury.  Bo has enjoyed the good life for a long dog time and spends his time doing what he loves the most these days-sleeping!   He also, won't say no to an occasional ice cream lick.

Meet Diesel, lovely and precocious fur baby of Melinda and Gary Hartner on Stoneham Drive.   How he got his name is a great story.  10 years ago in Texas, he was brought to the Hartners after surviving a brush fire.  His eyes were not even open yet and he was covered in diesel fuel.  Bottle fed and bathed (several times), he became their forever pet.   Diesel is a spoiled inside kitty who loves watching the bird feeders on the porch and laying around the enclosed pool.  Fun for him but, not for the lizards!

Shorty is a purebred Beagle-not-Beagle. This wild dog of Kentucky retired to Sun City Center in 2018 and brought her friends Bob and Kate Lochte with her.

Meet Ellie Grace.  She is the new fur baby to Jim and Joanne Kerr at 302 Brockfield.   She is about 8 years old and a Chihuahua mix.  At 13.5# and with her long body, they thought she may be ChiWeenie.  However, through DNA testing, it was revealed she is half Yorkshire Terrier!   Her life background is mostly unknown as she was a shelter dog, but she has won the hearts of her new family with her sweet disposition, calm manners, and grateful nature.

Meet 11 year old Molly Slack, wiener dog extraordinaire and cherished pet of John Slack at 234 North Brockfield.  Molly was adopted when she was 3 years old from the Humane Society in Tampa.  At that time, her name was Daffy and John wonders who would do that?  Molly likes to talk (bark) a bit.  She has to protect her human after all. But, as she originally came from New Orleans, she does it with a southern drawl.
